Does Chines Medicine Work?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been practised for over 2000 years in keeping a healthy body for mankind. It is a comprehensive medical system with its own diagnostic methods and therapies. ( which include acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine etc.) TCM is one of the important treasures of the Chinese Nation. Its effectiveness and huge amount of experience has been accumulated over 2000 years and TCM has been practiced in China and overseas all the time.
Modern or western research on TCM ( Laboratory or clinically )has been carried out in China since 1950`s and in overseas since 1970`s ( maybe earlier) until now.

In particular the magazine under `Medicine in Overseas` category called 'International Journal of Chinese Medicine Research volumes' published from November 1978 and later (2006) changed its name to 'International Traditional Chinese Medicine'. Until now it has published the articles regarding Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine on research, clinical report, conference etc. in which their articles were all coming from outside of China and the West for 35 years.

Chinese Medicine emphasises the body as a whole, concentrating on strengthening the patient’s own immune system and correcting the imbalance of the internal organs, as a result improving general health conditions as well as sorting out or improving the symptoms. Solid theory, great experience, special diagnostic system (taking the details of your problem, careful examination of your tongue and pulse) will be used for the practice all of the time and last is choosing the right herbs for patients. The effects could be very dramatic or may take some time to notice the benefits all depending on individual's condition.
